ABOUT THE RSG X PIKES HOTEL COLLABORATION

Pikes Hotel Ibiza was and still is the place to party in Ibiza!

The shoot location for the famous Wham! hit 'Club Tropicana', the hotel was first set up by the brilliant Tony Pike in the late 1970s. The hotel has hosted many famous guests including Kylie Minogue, Grace Jones, Bon Jovi, Biffy Clyro, Idris Elba, DJ Harvey, Liam Gallagher and more! In fact, the hotel's nightclub, Freddie's Bar, is named after Freddie Mercury who hosted his 41st birthday there!

Now owned by Dawn Hindle and Andy Mckay (founders of Manumission and Ibiza Rocks) the hotel is one of the few places that still represents the authentic, carefree, Balearic spirit of the island combined with an up to the minute new-wave of edgy millennial style. What's more, now in his 80's; the original owner Tony Pikes can still be seen popping up in the bar and partying the night away!

For our first collaboration with the iconic hotel, we jetted off to the party paradise to curate our own hotel room ... RSG Style! With the inspiration to create a hotel room that oozes 'after-party' glamour co-founders of Rockett St George selected some of our most eclectic homewares along with exclusively designed Pikes Hotel pieces to create a wild Ibizan hideout!

 THE COLLECTION

THE PARTY SHEEP

Known for their eclectic and unique style and for the biggest, maddest parties; the inspiration for the Blue Party Sheep comes from Pikes very own grazing sheep. The fabulous sheep display pieces reside amongst the flowerbeds at the hotel, grazing on the Mediterranean grass of Pikes. In fact, Pikes had a whole flock of colourful blue and green sheep until light-handed guests swiped them!

Now just one remains, which is how we knew it was a coveted item! Available in tennis court fluoro green or poolside relaxation blue, these damn fantastic Party Sheep will certainly add a little rock ‘n’ roll quirkiness to your décor!

An utterly unique display piece the Party Sheep can be displayed anywhere in the home that is in need of a little personality and stand out from the crowd!

Club Tropicana Wham Shorts Cocktail Sharer

Club Tropicana drinks are free!

The Club Tropicana Wham Shorts Cocktail Sharer is a particularly special piece in the collection, as the music video for Club Tropicana was filmed at Pikes Hotel! How cool is that?! Guaranteed to keep the party going all night long the Cocktail Sharer would make an oh so fabulous gift for party-lovers everywhere. Also, it is a lovely sentiment to remember the fabulous George Michael by.

"My favourite item of the RSG x Pikes Hotel Collaboration is the George Michael Wham Shorts cocktail sharer, it is the ultimate Club Tropicana accolade.”

-Lucy St George, co-founder of Rockett St George -

King Of The Disco Neoclassical Style Foot

The giant King of the Disco Neoclassical Style Foot is pure irreverence!

The original giant King of the Disco Neoclassical Style Foot can be seen as you enter the grounds of Pikes (although it tends to find a new location each summer). It was sourced at Pikes’ favourite Kempton market and considered a classic piece at the hotel! A whole lot of fun the giant King of the Disco Neoclassical Style Foot is a brilliantly eclectic display piece or ornament that you can style in your living room, hallway, kitchen or bedroom.  The more adventurous with your styling that you can be, the better!

Hand Wall Art & Coat Hooks

Available in four styles - Okay, Up Yours, Peace and Rock – there is so much suggestive fun to have with the eclectic storage pieces.

Perfect for hanging your coats, hats, and clothing on, these hooks are great for creating a humorous wall display. In fact, we think that the collection of Gold Hand Wall Art/ Coat Hooks would make a brilliant 3D addition to your picture or gallery wall. A fabulous gift idea too, our Gold Hand Wall Art is the ideal gift for that special someone who loves naughty and out of the ordinary pieces. These pieces can be seen behind the reception desk at Pikes and are used to hold all the room keys of the hotel.

Lady Wall Hanging

Found in a Venice Beach antique shop, the Lady Wall Hanging has resided on the door of the Room 39 (Pikes restaurant) for eight years. Part eye candy, part you know you have landed when you enter the doors; the Lady Wall Hanging will add fun, humour, and Pikes magic to the home.

Display the Lady Wall Hanging as part of your picture wall, above your bedside table, over your style spot or on your shelves and mantelpiece. No matter how you style it, this fabulous Lady Wall Hanging is an utterly unique piece that is guaranteed to turn heads.

Disco Ball Cocktail Sharer

The Disco Ball Cocktail Sharer For 6-8 People is guaranteed to keep the party going all night long. Glittery and glamorous the iconic disco ball drink vessel would make a fabulous display piece too! A fun party drink container, we think that the Disco Ball Cocktail Sharer would make an oh so fabulous gift for that disco diva in your life!

      Hi there,

Sadly we no longer sell the Party Sheep - they were part of our 2018 collaboration with Pikes Hotel.

      Best wishes,

      Sophie
