Embracing Diversity: Rockett St George's Commitment to Race Equality Week
At Rockett St George, we believe in the power of diversity and inclusion.
That's why we're thrilled to be actively participating in Race Equality Week, an annual initiative dedicated to addressing race inequality in the workplace. This week, organisations and individuals across the nation come together to spark conversations, drive change, and create a more equitable future for all.
The theme of this year's Race Equality Week is #ListenActChange, and it couldn't be more fitting. It serves as a powerful reminder that real progress begins with listening to diverse perspectives, taking meaningful action, and driving tangible change. As a company committed to fostering inclusivity, we wholeheartedly embrace this theme in everything we do.
In 2020, Rockett St George publicly pledged our support to the Design For Diversity Initiative. This initiative, which encompasses a three-point Pledge focusing on Visibility, Opportunity, and Accessibility, is our roadmap to fostering diversity within the design industry and beyond. We recognise that representation matters and are dedicated to creating opportunities for individuals from all backgrounds to thrive.
But our commitment doesn't stop there.
This year, we're excited to announce the introduction of Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion Courses for all our staff members. These courses are designed to educate, empower, and inspire our team to become advocates for change. We firmly believe that education is the cornerstone of progress, and we're proud to invest in the development of our employees as we work towards racial equality in the workplace.
In addition to our proactive initiatives towards diversity and inclusion, Rockett St George is proud to offer an Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) to all our staff members. We understand that supporting the well-being of our team is paramount, and the EAP serves as a valuable resource in this regard. Through the EAP, our employees have access to confidential resources, including counselling services and therapy sessions, designed to assist them in navigating personal and professional challenges.
