Your Christmas Dining Table
Christmas dinner deserves a table that feels every bit as special as the occasion.
Whether you're gathering your favourite people for a long lunch or simply making an ordinary December evening feel a little more celebratory, our Christmas table decorations and serveware are designed to turn dinner into an event.
Your Dining Table Centrepiece
Naturally, we like to start with the centrepiece.
Our Gold Etched Christmas Display Ornament brings more than a touch of festive glamour to the table, catching the candlelight beautifully and creating an instant focal point.
Or, if a character-led table is more your vibe, invite one of our Butler Santas to dinner.
These kitsch festive figures bring a jolly tone to the table, especially when joined by a traditional Nutcracker.
Ours come in pink or gold, and these Christmas classics are made all the more special because of the protective properties they’re said to bring to the home. Symbols of strength and good luck, they make a wonderfully unexpected centrepiece when styled amongst candles, glassware and foliage.
For a more maximalist approach, surround them with oversized bows and statement baubles, creating a lavish tablescape that feels abundant and joyful.
Christmas Table Styling Tips
Don't forget the table itself.
A Christmas garland running the length of your dining table instantly creates atmosphere, particularly when layered with candlelight (LEDs - safety first), decorative objects and seasonal foliage.
Let it trail down the centre rather than worrying about perfect symmetry.
The slightly undone, collected look is all part of the charm.
Then comes the part that makes Christmas dinner properly memorable: the serveware.
Our collection of beautiful serving boards is made for everything from festive cheeses and charcuterie to mince pies and after-dinner treats.
Bring on the leopard print and (sweary) sass!
For the tableware itself, embrace the opportunity to mix and layer.
Our tableware brings colour, pattern and character to your place settings, while our cutlery sets add the finishing touch.
Don't feel obliged to make every element match perfectly.
Combining different textures, finishes and colours can create a table that feels much more considered, and much more like you.
Candles & Glassware
Finally, add the little details that make guests feel properly welcomed.
Layer in candles, glassware, napkins and decorative pieces, varying heights and textures to create visual interest.
Leave enough room for the food, of course – but don't be afraid to let your table decoration take up a little space.
Because Christmas dining is about far more than what's on the plate.
It's about the people around the table, the conversation that carries on long after pudding, and those wonderfully over-the-top festive moments that only happen once a year.
So dress the table, pour the wine and invite your guests to pull up a chair.
This is Christmas entertaining, the Rockett St George way: generous, glamorous and with absolutely no shortage of personality.

Inspired by the latest trends, we’ve put together three modern Christmas table ideas that will enchant your guests this Christmas…
Christmas Party Ideas To Steal
The party season has officially begun and we’ve put together our top Christmas party ideas to impress and wow your guests this year!
How To Set A Festive Table
Red and green is a classic, of course, and we’re all for it. HOWEVER. This is Christmas by Rockett St George - why not push the palette? Think glassware in jewel tones paired with a metallic runner or decorative garland for unapologetic glamour. Alternatively, go pink and burgundy for a sophisticated, grown-up twist (take your inspiration from our fabulous Nutcracker Candlestick Holder). Then layer the sparkle on top for extra festive shimmer and shine. The key is consistency: your decorations and tableware will ideally echo each other so the look feels curated and intentional (although you know what we say – your home, your rules. If your inner maximalist is craving clashing colours and textures, go for it!) Our Beautifully Handcrafted Classic Paper Garlands in moss or red are a fool proof way to anchor the scheme, while our Luxury Rock & Roll Christmas Crackers bring just the right amount of edge. The rules of the game are a) to choose a table theme that reflects you, so that it feels truly authentic; and b) to have a couple of practice runs so that you can get a good feeling for what really works, rather than throwing it all together on the day. Trust us – a bit of prep now will save a lot of stress come Christmas Day.
You won’t be surprised to hear us say that it’s all about the unexpected and thinking outside the box. Using a door wreath laid flat in the centre of the table, styled with pillar candles and tealights in the middle, creates a beautiful centrepiece of cascading candlelight, and is particularly striking when styled with green foliage. Alternatively, a Gothic-style candelabra with leopard print or hot pink dinner candles, surrounded by papercraft Christmas trees or a scattering of metallic baubles, is a scene-stealing centrepiece with longevity. Make it as festive as you like, then recreate it the rest of the year to reflect seasonal changes. A tall, gold, glittering light-up Christmas tree surrounded by fairy lights is perfect for the crew for whom one Christmas tree is never enough. Or take a decoration stand and festoon with festive polaroid photos of all your guests before weaving with fairy lights to create a super-personalised Christmas table centrepiece. Play with textures, colours, layers and heights so your centrepiece feels dynamic, but not so formal that people can’t relax around the table. You still want guests to be able to gossip across the sprouts, after all!
Not at all. Matching is polished, but mixing is chic. Try pairing classic white plates with antiqued-effect cutlery for a luxe-bistro feel, or use bold, patterned or statement ceramic dinner plates for maximalist twist on traditional Christmas tableware. Create cohesion in the same way you might with an outfit - mix textures, but keep the palette harmonious. OR you could just do your own thing. There’s no rulebook that says your place settingshaveto match, and a really thoughtful touch is to curate the setting to the guest (the dog lover; the disco queen and so on). It makes your Christmas table feel extra personal, because yes – that's how much your guests matter!
Game-changing. Glassware doesn’t just hold your fizz, it sets the mood. The right wine glass, Champagne coupe or water tumbler catches candlelight, creating instant ambience. Mix up shapes for interest (a coupe here, a highball there) and don’t be afraid to go coloured or vintage-inspired. With our statement glassware collection, every toast feels elevated and every sip tastes like an occasion.
Traditionally, Christmas crackers go above the plate, but there’s no hard and fast rule. Styled tucked into the napkin fold feels chic, or running them diagonally across a plate adds drama (and shows off your crackers to great effect). The trick is to pick crackers that reflect your mood: disco-style for sparkle, sweary ones for sass, or vintage glamour for luxury. Our Christmas cracker collection this year is a mix of bold, beautiful, humorous and luxe – we guarantee they’ll turn heads! And they’re not just there to fill the space. Christmas crackers are traditional, yes, but more than that, they’re conversation starters (and ours are stuffed full of quality gifts).
Candles are pure alchemy. Tall taper candles deliver drama, while chunky pillar candles add warmth and intimacy. Tea lights do the heavy lifting at ground level, and add to the overall glow, especially when placed in mixed candle holders - choose metallic, glass or beautifully ornate. Our quirky and unique collection of candlestick holders are fabulous when paired with long, dramatic dinner candles, and bring a pop of personality to the table. Together, they create that ‘lit from within’ magic that makes guests look fabulous.
Layer, then edit, then edit some more. Start with a runner or Christmas garland down the middle of your table to create a foundation (whether you like to use a tablecloth is entirely up to you – if you do, keep this relatively muted so as not to overshadow the work of art that’s going on top). Then add tableware, cutlery and glassware in deliberate groupings, and create dedicated spaces for serving dishes.Nowyou get to the fun part. Add your candles (and our new OBSESSION – candle pins), fairy lights, foliage, Christmas crackers and place cards if you’re going posh. Arrange, rearrange and tweak indefinitely (this is where your practice runs come in handy). Giving everything space to breathe is crucial - it creates a much more striking end result, and shows off each element perfectly. Don't be afraid to remove as much as you add. When you’ve got it looking just as you like it, take a photo from all angles (including from above) so you can recreate on the day. Fool proof!
The extras that seem small but change everything. Fairy light garlands woven down the middle like stardust, mini paper decorations as place markers, or a sprig of rosemary tied with velvet red bow decoration on each plate. These are the details that transform your table from pretty to unforgettable. Our handcrafted ornaments and statement garlands are perfect for that final flourish - proof that finishing touches are where the real magic happens.
