It's International Women's Day!
A day to celebrate women across the world for being their wonderful, extraordinary and powerful selves, we are feeling incredibly inspired by all the amazing women out there today! #InternationalWomensDay
Of course, we dream in all things interior design and so we wanted to mark International Women's Day with all of the amazing women in the interior sphere that have helped us grow and support Rockett St George in recent years.
Before We Start...

Our Interior Rockstar Co-Founders, Jane Rockett and Lucy St George
Of course, we could not kick things off without mentioning our talented co-founders Jane Rockett and Lucy St George.
Best friends, Jane and Lucy, founded Rockett St George 14 years ago. At the time they both had young families and so the confines of a 9-5 working job was not working for them.
They both loved interiors, spending weekends 'treasure hunting' at Antique Fairs, constantly rearranging furniture (much to their partner's annoyances) and so they combined their skills (Jane has a background in PR and Photography and Lucy's in retail) and Rockett St George was born!
Fast forward to today and Jane and Lucy have grown our fabulous online homeware emporium into the place to go for beautiful, unexpected and showstopping furniture, lighting, wallpaper, home accessories and more. They've even written not one, but two books - Extraordinary Interiors and Extraordinary Interiors In Colour.
As a team, we think that working for Jane and Lucy is a daily inspiration. The two of them are an Interior Design Powerhouse and we can't wait to see what they do next!

The Amazing Anna Hayman
Print and design artist, Anna Hayman rocks our world.
Incredibly talented, Anna's handcrafts 1970s style patterned lampshades, wallpaper and art prints for Rockett St George and they have become firm customer favourites.
Based very close to Rockett St George headquarters in Sussex, Anna began creating and selling her designs in 2015 and it's so inspiring to see how far she has come. In fact, we were so inspired by Anna that we created a short film about it. The Creative Rebecca Sophie Leigh
Rebecca Sophie Leigh needs no introduction.
With distinctive prints that you would now recognise anywhere, artist Rebecca Sophie Leigh, aka Seeds Of Memory Art, first got in touch with on the recommendation of Matthew Williamson (who also stocks fabulous wallpaper patterns at Rockett St George) after displaying her art prints at a private viewing in Primrose Hill hosted by actress, Sadie Frost. How cool is that?!
Co-founders Jane and Lucy were blown away by her dramatic, dark, eclectic impressionist art prints and so to this day, we are really thrilled that she sells these prints at Rockett St George.
Her impressionist and fascinating artwork is like nothing we have seen before and her talent never fails to take our breath away.

Lottie Davies of Cold Harbour Lights instantly appealed to us for her incredible chandelier designs.

Lottie's designs are inspired by her background in theatre, expressing her love of theatrics and flamboyant exuberant. No.5. Dawn Hindle
The Incredible Dawn Hindle
Last, but certainly not least, is the amazing Dawn Hindle.
Dawn Hindle is one part of the magic behind the revival of Pikes Hotel, Ibiza taking over the hotel from the late, Tony Pike, with Andy Mckay.
The hotel is representative of the iconic white isle party spirit that we saw in the 1980s with many famous guests including Freddie Mercury, Grace Jones, Biffy Clyro, DJ Harvey, Liam Gallagher and more. Dawn and her team are integral for keeping the original Ibizan party spirit alive and her work inspires us every day.
We are so thrilled to be able to work with Dawn with our exclusive Rockett St George Pikes Collection of fun-filled homewares that will inject the Ibizan spirit into your homes.
