Let's take it back to the beginning. Our fabulous Co-founders, Lucy St George & Jane Rockett, first launched Rockett St George in 2007 with a dream to make a career out of their shared passion for interiors. Their journey started as best friends endlessly trawling car boot sales for one-off treasures on the weekends. After being asked to source amazing vintage pieces for friends and family, their carboot ritual led them on the incredible journey to turn Rockett St George into the interiors destination you know and love today.

Inspired by their treasure-hunting origins, we take you on a journey to discover the vintage style inspiration behind the bestsellers in our collection. From style elements borrowed from iconic eras to their signature love of disco balls, art deco lighting, old-school signs and sentimental trinkets, vintage design continues to inspire Jane & Lucy far more than any interior trend.

While trends come and go, Jane & Lucy believe in surrounding yourself with beautiful pieces and quirky curiosities you love. This ethos is a founding principle of Rockett St George and it influences every new product that arrives on the site.

The 1970s era never fails to inspire us. It has often been described as ‘the decade that taste forgot’. However, we couldn’t disagree more.
