Wall Decor That's Perfect For Spring & Summer

Seasonal Wall Decor Perfect For Now

A collection of summery art prints

There’s a very specific moment every year when everything shifts.

The light changes and the evenings stretch out in a way that feels long and luxurious. Your home feels cosy and cocooning; but also? Ready for something new. And more often than not, it’s your walls that feel it first.

Because while winter is all about layering up, spring and summer are about lifting, brightening and letting your space breathe again.

And one of the easiest and most exciting ways to do that is with wall decor.

That doesn't mean full-on redecoration, or renovations (unless you want it to!) Just quirky wall decor, art prints, decorative mirrors and glorious neon. In short? A simple, joyful refresh that instantly changes the mood of a room.

A Reset For Your Home

Swapping your wall decor is one of the quickest ways to transform your home.

All it takes is one new, bold print to introduce an unexpected pop of colour that makes your wall decor feel lighter, fresher and more alive.

It’s not about starting from scratch - it’s about shifting the energy.

For us, it's about moving away from the muted tones of winter (beautifully seasonal, but better suited to the cooler months) and embracing wall decor that's more playful, more expressive… more you, but in summer mode.

Let’s Talk Colour

Spring and summer are not the time to play it safe when it comes to wall decor (or interiors in general, if it comes to that!)

As natural light floods your home, your walls can handle more - more colour, more contrast, more personality.

Think:

  • Hot pinks that bring instant joy to your wall decor scheme
  • Red or coral tones energise and bring warmth
  • Zesty oranges add instant Mediterranean feels to a space
  • Sunshine yellows lift the mood (and even the gloomiest corner).

They're cheerful colours that are perfect for wall decor in spring and summer, and have the power to change not just how a room looks but also how it feels.

Red, for instance, is a high impact colour that's emotive and passionate - perfect for wall decor in rooms in which you want to engage in lively debate.

Red is interesting because although it's the colour of love, it's not actually the best colour to relax with...and can have the opposite effect to what was intended when used in the bedroom.

Used with care, though, it can spark momentum and creativity. As our fabulous co-founders Jane and Lucy say, red is a great colour for when you need to get sh&t done!

Pink, on the other hand, encourages calmness and love - and it looks beautiful as wall decor. Stronger shades, such as hot pink, are associated with joyfulness, fun and important cultural icons. Glinda The Good Witch (of Wicked fame) dresses in nothing but pink, and also: Barbie. It's a colour that represents both softness and strength, and we love it.

Sunny Shades Of Summer

Corals, yellows and oranges are the classic shades of summer and are all bright, happy colours that can lift your spirits faster than a Aperol spritz at sundown.

Used as part of a wall decor scheme, they're the perfect way to introduce a bit of sunshine to your home, although be careful with orange - too much can make your home look like a throwback to the 1970s (although if that's your intention, fill your boots!)

Subtler shades, such as terracotta or rust, translate well into interiors and are earthier versions of orange that are more adaptable and easier to live with.

Think of them as the colour of sunsets, infusing your home with feel-good holiday vibes evening after evening.

Beautiful.

Art That Feels Like A Holiday

The best wall decor doesn’t just sit there looking pretty.

It transports you.

Palm tree artwork?

Instant holiday mode.

Relaxed and more than a little bit glamorous, nothing says summer like a palm tree - and happily, we have plenty to choose from. From monochrome prints to polaroid-style artwork and colourful montages, there's a palm for every style and mood. Ditto cacti - bringing all the sun-drenched, summer vibes, they're the ultimate in summer fauna, with a little cowboy energy thrown in.

For something a little softer, chinoiserie prints bring in delicate florals and nature-inspired detail.

It's calm, elegant and quietly impactful, introducing a moment of tranquility that's perfect for balancing out a busy day. Style somewhere you'll see first thing in the morning and last thing at night - the bedroom is perfect - to inspire a Zen-like mindset that sets you up for productive, meaningful days and restful nights.

Your Walls, Your Rules

When it comes to sunshine-inspired wall decor, there’s a common misconception that it only works in bright, south-facing rooms.

Not true.

In fact, with a little know-how, these pieces can shine as wall decor just as beautifully in north-facing spaces too.

Let’s start with light-filled, south-facing rooms.

These spaces naturally amplify colour, which means your wall decor can go all in on those cooler hues - think citrus yellows, sky blues or fresh greens.

With plenty of natural sunlight to bounce around, these shades feel crisp, uplifting and full of energy rather than cold.

It’s the perfect setting for bold, sunshine-soaked artwork that leans into contrast and clarity.

North-facing rooms, where the light is softer, moodier and there's a little more shadow, is where wall decor gets interesting.

Instead of fighting the light, work with it. Warmer tones like honey, amber and sepia come into their own here, adding depth and a gentle glow that feels considered rather than overpowering. These shades bring a subtle warmth that lifts the space without demanding attention, creating an atmosphere that’s calm, cocooning and quietly radiant.

Of course, there are no hard rules.

If you love bold, sun-drenched wall decor in a north-facing room, go for it. If you prefer soft, tonal artwork in a bright space, that works too. The beauty of wall decor is its flexibility - it evolves with you, your mood and the changing seasons.

So whether your home is bathed in sunlight or gently shaded, there’s a way to make sunshine wall decor work for you.

Because at the end of the day?

Your walls, your rules.

Cocktails, cacti and and cowgirls...it's summer, and it's coming to a wall near you. Wall decor at its finest!
