1. Let’s start at the very beginning, tell us about yourself and how you came to love home styling, fashion and interiors?
I've always been surrounded by creativity. My mum ran a textile design company when I was growing up, so fabrics, colour and design were a huge part of my childhood. Fashion was something I naturally gravitated towards, and I loved expressing myself through clothes from a really young age.
As I've got older, that love has naturally expanded into interiors and home styling. I've always enjoyed creating spaces that feel personal, colourful and lived in. Whether it's styling an outfit, a photoshoot or bringing my home styling ideas to life in a corner of my house, I love the storytelling aspect of putting things together and making them feel beautiful. For me, home styling is all about creating spaces that reflect personality and feel effortlessly welcoming.
2. How would you describe your personal style, and how do you think it’s evolved over the years?
My style is colourful, fun and a little bit unexpected. I love mixing old and new, whether that's a vintage find, a forever piece or something I've picked up on the high street. It's the same approach I take with home styling too. I love blending characterful vintage pieces with modern finds to create a home that feels collected, personal and full of personality.
I think I've become much more comfortable in my own skin over the years. Motherhood has definitely played a part in that. These days I'm less interested in following rules and more interested in wearing things that make me feel like myself. I love clothes that are practical, but I still want them to have personality and bring a bit of joy to everyday life.
That mindset carries through to my home styling as well. Whether I'm refreshing a room, experimenting with interior styling or adding new home décor, I always want my home to reflect who we are as a family. For me, home styling isn't about perfection—it's about creating spaces that feel lived in, welcoming and full of joy.
3. Tell us about your home and interiors. Are there any fun home projects you are working on at the moment?
Our home is in North London and it's always evolving. We have three children, so it definitely needs to work for family life, but I still love creating spaces that feel beautiful, personal and full of character. Home styling is something I genuinely enjoy, and I love finding simple ways to make every room feel warm, lived in and full of personality.
I'm always moving things around and finding little projects to work on—bless Sparrow, he's constantly got his ladder out and doing runs to B&Q! I think that's one of the things I love most about home styling. It doesn't have to be a huge renovation; sometimes just restyling a shelf or moving furniture around can completely change the feel of a space.
We've been really lucky because the owners have given us quite a free rein when it comes to decorating. We obviously can't make any structural changes, but it's amazing what a bit of paint, some interesting lighting and a great mirror can do to completely transform a space. It just goes to show that home styling is often about being creative with what you already have.
I'm obsessed with HK Living at the moment—we have an incredible blue rug from there that I absolutely love. I've also just bought a fabulous shaggy pink HK Living cushion from Rockett St George. It's those little home décor touches that make the biggest difference. A pop of colour, an interesting texture or a vintage find can completely jazz up a room and give it so much personality. That's my favourite part of home styling and interior styling—layering pieces over time to create a home that feels unique and tells your story.
4. You and your family have the coolest style! How do you find the most fabulous clothing and accessories for you and the kids?
I absolutely love Pinterest and spend far too much time on it for home styling inspiration. It's my go-to place for discovering fresh interior styling ideas, colour palettes and creative ways to style a space. My mum is also a huge influence—she's always heading off to car boot sales and finding the most amazing treasures. Between the two of us, there's usually a steady stream of vintage finds coming into the house, whether it's furniture, home décor, accessories or some really great clothes.
I think being confident in what you like is the key to both fashion and home styling. Trends come and go, but the things you genuinely love are what make your personal style—and your home styling—feel authentic. The best interiors are the ones that tell your story rather than simply following what's fashionable.
I used to love dressing the girls when they were little, but they've honestly had minds of their own since they were about two years old. They both have such strong senses of style now, and while some of their outfit choices can be completely random, I really respect it. I love seeing their personalities come through in what they wear and watching their individual styles evolve as they get older. I think it's very similar to home styling—it's all about embracing individuality and creating something that reflects who you are.
I've also been absolutely loving dressing Zen. At five months old, I still have full creative control, which is a novelty! Dressing a little boy has been such a fun change, and I've loved exploring a completely different side of children's fashion. Just like with home styling, I love mixing colours, textures and playful details to create something that feels unique and full of personality.
5. What small joys make your day when juggling busy family life as a creative mum?
A good coffee in peace is always a win, although with three children, “in peace” is doing a lot of heavy lifting in that sentence. I love the school drop-off chats with friends, finding a vintage treasure online, fresh flowers on the kitchen table and those little home styling touches that make a house feel like home. Those rare moments when all three children are happily playing together and nobody is arguing honestly feel like winning the lottery.
And I can’t lie, a lovely glass of red wine in the evening is definitely up there too. After a particularly chaotic day, there’s something magical about finally sitting down, putting the toys away (or strategically ignoring them), and enjoying a glass while pretending I’m the kind of person who has their life completely together. It’s those simple home styling moments, whether it’s lighting a candle or admiring a favourite vintage find, that help create a home you actually want to relax in.
It’s usually the smallest things that make the biggest difference. A good coffee, a great vintage find, a catch-up with friends, fresh flowers and a glass of wine at the end of the day can turn almost any day around. For me, home styling has never been about having a picture-perfect house. It's about filling your home with things you love and creating spaces that make you smile. Sometimes the best home styling ideas are also the simplest.
6. Where do you like to draw inspiration from for styling, home and other projects?
Everywhere really. Fashion, travel, films, books, interiors, vintage magazines and especially Instagram. I love observing how people put things together.
7. Do you have a favourite room or corner of your home where you spend the most time and why do you love it?
Definitely our kitchen and dining area. It’s the heart of the house and where everything happens - family meals, arts and crafts, homework, cups of tea with friends and the general chaos of everyday life. I think that's what I love most about home styling - creating spaces that are beautiful but genuinely lived in.
That said, I also absolutely love our front room. It feels completely separate from the rest of the house - a little calmer, quieter and somewhere I can escape to when everything gets a bit hectic. It’s probably the closest thing I have to a sanctuary, and one of my favourite spaces for home styling.
I also adore the girls’ bedroom. Whenever I walk in there, I feel like a child again. It’s full of personality, colour and all their wonderful collections of toys, books and quirky little lamps. It perfectly sums up my approach to home styling.
8. You are the queen of parties and table styling. What do you like to do to make a space look extra special?
For me, it’s all about the details. Candles instantly make a space feel magical, and I love mixing colours, textures and unexpected pieces on a table. That’s my favourite part of home styling.
Fresh flowers, beautiful glassware and lots of layers can completely transform a space. I think the most important thing is creating something that feels welcoming rather than perfect. That’s always been my approach to home styling.
9. What interior trend would you like to see more of this year and why do you love it?
I’d love to see more people embracing colour and personality in their homes. I think we’re moving away from everything feeling overly curated and neutral, and I’m really enjoying spaces that feel collected, individual and full of character. That’s the direction I love seeing in home styling.
Homes should reflect the people who live in them and tell their story. That’s what great home styling is all about.
Also, I’m super into tassels at the moment. One thing I’m completely obsessed with at the moment is my Honorè Decor light. I have one in the front room and recently added another above the kitchen table. They instantly make a space feel chic and considered, while still being fun and a little bit unexpected, which is exactly what I love about home styling.
I also love open shelving. Our kitchen shelves are packed with colourful cups, plates, ceramics and vases that I’ve collected over the years. I actually put two IKEA stainless-steel shelves together, and they’ve become such a talking point. People are always asking where something is from, and I love being able to say it’s a mix of vintage finds, high-street pieces and things I’ve collected over time. I think that mix is what makes home styling feel so personal.
For me, those personal touches are what make a house feel like a home. The things that tell a story are always far more interesting than everything matching perfectly. That’s my favourite thing about home styling.
10. Finally, name three new Rockett St George products that you love!
I’m completely obsessed with anything colourful, playful or a little bit quirky. Rockett St George stocks HK Living, which is one of my absolute favourite brands, so narrowing it down was difficult!
My top picks would be:
The HK Living Shaggy Pink Cushion — it’s such a statement piece and instantly adds personality to a room.
The HK Living Ceramic Owl Jar — we keep our coffee beans in one and incense in another. They’re practical but also feel like little pieces of art dotted around the house.
My “Fuck It” mug — anyone who knows me knows I have a slight obsession with mugs. This one is definitely my favourite. Aside from making my morning coffee taste better (obviously), it serves as a daily reminder to worry a little less and embrace a bit more of a “fuck it” attitude. As a mum of three, I find that message particularly helpful on certain mornings!

Cooking in my kitchen with a glass of wine, surrounded by friends and family. It’s my favourite place to be.
My dream holiday would be…
Japan. It’s been on my list for years and I just need to book it. The food, the culture and, most importantly, the vintage shopping look incredible.
My ideal day would be spent…
Waking up early and having a long, lazy breakfast, then heading East for brunch at Towpath, followed by a walk through Victoria Park with a quick pint stop along the way. I’d finish the day at Rochelle Canteen for an early dinner and a Paloma.
My personal motto is…
“Fabulous things happen when you turn up.” It’s something I have to remind myself of regularly, especially after a sleepless night with the baby when staying at home sounds far more appealing. But every time I make the effort, I’m glad I did.
My guilty pleasure is…
Wine and shopping. A classic combination.
The last film I saw was…
I recently showed my girls A Little Princess, which I used to watch on repeat as a child. Watching it with them was surprisingly emotional and one of those lovely full-circle parenting moments.
My all-time favourite item from my wardrobe is…
It’s impossible to choose just one, but my Saks Potts polka-dot coat and my Bode heart-stud jacket are probably my most treasured pieces. They were both big investments and I still absolutely love them.
In five years’ time, I want to be…
Healthy, happy and surrounded by the people I love. The older I get, the more I realise that’s what really matters.
The three things I can’t live without are…
A supportive bra, my coffee machine and a really good under-eye cream. Priorities have definitely changed over the years!
