London Craft Week Tuesday 3rd - Saturday 7th May @ Various Venues, London

A newcomer from our favourite Soho House, Cafe Monico serves all-day French-Italian cuisine in a traditional brasserie setting. The menu is enough to get the taste buds going, and the vintage decor is truly inspired. The original Cafe Monico was established in 1877, but this year in collaboration with chef Rowley Leigh, the vibrant revival of Cafe Monico is now complete with extravagant bulbous chandeliers, distressed mirrored wood panelling and deep green leather seating. The central bar is also covered in an amazing array of alcoholic drinks. We'll be having the Salmon carpaccio with Steak and Frites - heaven!

We expect that great things will be coming from Cafe Monico - stop by for breakfast, lunch, dinner, afternoon tea or cocktails in their gorgeous vintage setting.

9-45 Shaftesbury Avenue, London, W1D 6LA

Returning to Somerset House for its second year, Photo London will showcase 80 of the world’s leading galleries in what has become a major international photography Fair. Combined with an innovative public programme, you can get excited for talks with fashion photographer and documentary maker Nick Knight about his work (pictured), exhibitions from photographer Craigie Horsfield and special installations from worldwide galleries such as The Photographers' Gallery in London and the Howard Greenberg Gallery from New York. There's so much to see - so look forward to an inspiration overload! We can't wait to see what else they have to offer this year, get a sneak preview of what's to come in their new video:

Thursday 19th - Sunday 22nd @ Someset House, WC2R 1LA

You can't go past The New Club on Brighton seafront without stealing a glance or two. And yes, it is actually as fabulous as it looks. The industrial New-York inspired diner decor is the smart-casual joint you're looking for! Not only are they one of our customers, but we are one of theirs! Aside from their delicious drinks menu, The New Club has been given 5 stars for their Dirty Burger by Shortlist Magazine, were voted one of Britain’s hottest new restaurants by Waitrose Magazine, and both the The Times, The Sunday Times, and Stylist Magazine voted one of the best places for brunch and coffee in the country. It's the perfect day and night hangout.

Their cocktail menu is refined to say the least, with twists on classic recipes such as the Brighton Neroni, the Black Dove and Short Stack Sour - always expertly presented. The Brighton Neroni consists of Brighton Gin, Blackdown Sussex Vermouth and Kamm & Sons British Aperitif -all British ingredients that make for an intriguing fresh twist on the classic Negroni with light delicate flavours of juniper, ginseng and silver birch. Order one and tell them we sent you!

Pop down for incredible sea views, delicious drinks (alcoholic or otherwise) and keep an eye out for our tin tiles wallpaper!

We first heard about this film after watching Graham Norton (guilty!) and think it looks brilliant. Following the true story Florence Foster Jenkins, a New York heiress who dreamed of becoming an opera singer despite having a terrible singing voice, it stars the incredible Meryl Streep and our other guilty pleasure Hugh Grant. On 25 October 1944, Florence performed all of her most beloved selections in what is said to be the fastest sold-out concert in the hall’s history; with fans eagerly forking out twenty dollars for the two-dollar tickets. There is hope for us all! It looks hilarious funny, and come from the creators of Philomena and The Queen so we know it's going to be a winner. Watch the trailer here:

Out in UK cinemas from May 2nd!
