Styling your home can be a minefield. We are bombarded from all sides by magazines, television and social media telling us how we should decorate, what's on trend and what's not, what's cool and what isn't.  The opportunities for decor faux pas seem endless, and let’s not forget the fact that we want our homes to look fabulous without breaking the bank!

Lisa Dawson and Dee Campling are home stylists with a difference. As interior bloggers with a huge social media following, we truly believe that your home should be as individual as you are and that the only trends that matter are the ones that you set. Your home is an expression of your personality and we want to help you make your space reflect this. So join us for a workshop class - at the super cool neon company Bag & Bones HQ in London on the 9th of June 2017.

Lisa and Dee will help you decide what your style is and how you can express this in your own home. Plus we’ll reveal our secret sources, how to style your perfect space and give you the inside info on how to make social media work for you.  It's a fun and very interactive agenda with lots of interior discussion and chat!

To be in with a chance to win a pair of tickets to Lisa and Dee's workshop at Bag & Bones HQ in London simply click the link above to be redirected to the competition page where you will find one very simple question to answer… Good Luck!

Easter is only a few weeks away and supermarkets are bursting full of chocolatey eggs that will delight all chocoholics everywhere! But this month we thought we would strip all the easter madness back and find our top 5 cafes and restaurants that serve the humble egg ... after all breakfast really is the most instagrammable meal of the day!
1. Bad Egg London
Everyone should try Bad Egg at least once in their life! Popping up every weekend at the Little Smoke in Moorgate you can expect a lively brunch with delicious egg dishes, hip hop music and plenty of booze! Egg lovers will adore the Bad Ass Nachos with a fried egg on top or the scrummy Breakfast Tacos!
2. Sugar Junction Manchester
A vintage tea and cocktail emporium, Sugar Junction offers our favourite kind of mix: food and booze! With vintage furniture and a mix of interesting ornaments the breakfast and brunch dishes are all served in delightfully vintage china to suit the mood. Whilst all the breakfast plates are worth a try the Blueberry French Toast and the Veggie Breakfast would be our eggy dishes of choice!
3. The Bristolian Bristol
Catering for all dietary preferences The Bristolian does good food well. Their brunch menu is short and simple, but by no means less spectacular! The Eggs Florentine with homemade hollandaise sauce, toasted muffin, chives and spinach with bacon or salmon would be our go-to!
4. Yorks Bakery Cafe Birmingham
Serving outstanding freshly roasted coffee and the best egg dishes you can find in Birmingham, Yorks Bakery Cafe will keep you coming back for more. Their new Greek Eggs dish and the Arabian Buttered Eggs are our top picks if you're sitting in and the Avocado & Egg Brioche is fantastic when you're on the go!
5. The Hyndland Fox Glasgow

The Hyndland Fox brunch plates are hard to beat. Serving eggtastic breakfast dishes with a traditional Scottish twist it's hard to be disappointed. Opt for the Smashed Avocado with Sourdough, Roast Vine Tomatoes with Poached Egg and Salmon for the ultimate palate pleaser.

Our favourite new find is The Worship Street Whistling Shop. What we love most about The Worship Street Whistling Shop is the authentic experience that the bar effortlessly creates. Upon finding the speakeasy bar you descend down a flight of stairs into a cool, dim underground of vintage authenticity. The bar is made up of two rooms with plenty of secluded hang-outs, a bath tub(?!) and charming victorian pieces that make you feel as though you were transported back in time.
Once you're seated the fun really begins! The waiter will present you with an epic menu of boozy cocktails that is inspired by the elements: earth, wind, fire and water. Explore the menu and pick a drink that you're guaranteed not to find anywhere else!

With a curated programme of facinating events, London Craft Week is our favourite new find. Taking place in May, the annual event will take you on a journey of Britains best craftsmanship and creativity.

A real must for the creative spirits out there, prepare to be indulged with a range of performances and shows and meet artists, designers, makers and engineers in some of London's most iconic buildings such as the V&A to The Shard and RADA to The House of Lords.

With such an extensive programme to choose from we highly recommend seeing SCP's show: House of Upholstery. In the one hour talk, SCP will demonstrate upholstery making - a really fascinating insight into the world of upholstery.

Other notable events throughout the week include: Bruichladdich Whisky Tasting Workshop / Wallpaper with Allyson McDermott and Rose Uniacke / Italian Ceramics and Textiles Exhibition at the Italian Cultural Institute / Make a Stool: Upholstery at Shoreditch Design Rooms / Make a Journal at the London Centre for Book Arts

Running from the 3rd to the 7th of May, book your places to avoid missing out!

Brighton Festival is back with a brilliant line-up that has made it such an established arts festival! Celebrating great music, theatre, dance, circus, art, film, family events and much more the festival will run from Saturday the 6th of May right through to the end of the month.

With such a rich choice of events to choose from, there is something really interesting to do every day. Our particular favourites include the Children's Parade on the 6th of May which will be a colourful parade filled with exciting costumes and lively music. It goes without saying that this would be a perfect event for families. Alternatively, if you're in the mood for a laugh then check out Adam Buxton's Bug: David Bowie Special. An obvious must-see for all Bowie lovers this show will celebrate David Bowie’s life and career, remembering the mark that he has made on our cultural landscape.

Other notable events of the festival include: Raising Lazarus (Theatre) / If I Could I Would (Circus) / Pitch Perfect (Family) / The Guilty Feminist (Comedy) / David Lynch: The Art Life (Film) / Dinosaur (Music) / Kate Tempest + REMI (Music).

With so much movie choice out there we can all end up with a little decision fatigue. So why not let someone else make the decision for you? A little bit of fun, Secret Cinema X is a night of suspense, fun and immersive culture.

Purchase your tickets online and prepare for an epic night of adventure! Keeping you guessing from the very beginning you will not know what the film will be nor the screening and they won't even tell you the location!  In fact, all you will know is the date and the time of the screening. But don't worry the location is always somewhen spectacular, a little bit surprising and with previous screenings including AMY, Sounds Like Teen Spirit and Victoria   ...  you are bound to be screened something high calibre!

If coffee is your weapon for getting s**t done then the London Coffee Festival is for you!
Running from the 6th to the 9th of April the festival is the flagship event for UK Coffee Week. Over the four-day event highlights include the Espresso Martini Party, Latte Art Live, Home Barista Workshops and the Coffee Art Project.
What is really worth a mention, however, is the Coffee Masters Tournament. The tournament will see twenty baristas showcasing their amazing skills in a fast-paced knockout competition. The baristas will have to showcase their skills in cupping ( a test that measures the competitors taste profiles), brewing, latte art, the order (baristas are given the challenge to make ten espresso-based drinks in nine minutes or less) and their signature drink. A tense and gripping competition that really ties the whole event together.

We are proud to be sponsoring Stephanie Staunton who, along with other fellow nail technicians, will attempt to smash the world record for the number of nails painted in an 8 hour period on the 2nd of April. Specifically, the team of nail technicians will aim to do 6078 manicures - a number which is significant because it represents the number of suicides in U.K. and ROI 2015.
The Nailing Mental Health event will be held at the Intercontinental Hotel at the O2, London and attendees will be charged £5 to have their nails painted green - the colour of the metal health awareness ribbon. All proceeds go to MIND charity which provides research, counselling, advice and support for those in need. Please show your support and be a part of this incredible endeavour!
