As summer draws to a close all the fabulous summer pop-up restaurants are winding down for another year. So to make sure you catch the last of the summer pop-up fun we have listed our three favourite pop-up restaurants and bars in London for you to try by the end of September!
An annual pop-up that appears at Southwark, directly on The Thames each year, the exclusive BBQ Club is a fun opportunity to get involved with the preparation of your food along with the chefs! Baste and grill dishes, as Jimmy Garcia and his team of chef’s guide you through a refined and interactive six-course tasting menu, that will leave you wanting to grill up a storm!

For the month of September, The Thames is celebrated with a month-long festival, Totally Thames, that is intended to inspire and connect with a series of art festivals, events, river races and community-run activities. So, with a jam-packed schedule of events along The Thames, all throughout the month, there is so much to see, do and more.
With so much on, we've compiled our favourite things to see and do so that you don't miss out.
Our highlights include The R.A.P Party ( a boat party along The Thames, with live music, dancing and fun), The World’s Oldest Boat Race (the title says it all) and the London Children's Curriculum Festival (a family friendly event, teaching children about London's history and culture).
A special mention must go to the Hidden Palaces of the Riverside: A Guided Architectural Treasure Hunt, which is perfect for anyone who loves architecture and design. A glimpse into the history of the Thames riverside, the guided walk will explore The Thames changing architecture and the developing use of London’s riverside over five centuries. Admiring Queen Mary’s steps and the Archbishop of York’s gateway, among many other interesting landmarks, this is an interesting and immersive experience not to be missed.
Fancy having a little nose around London's most iconic and usually closed-off buildings?! Hell yes, we do!
Every year, for one weekend only some of London's most iconic buildings open up to the general public for free! A brilliant weekend activity of families and anyone interested in beautiful architecture and design, Open House London is not to be missed.
As self-confessed treasure hunters, there is nothing that we like more than seeking out the gems - particularly the ones that are hard to find. So naturally, Open House London is the event for us! On from the 22nd - 23rd of September, our top choices include Bloomberg European Headquarters which is the world's most sustainable offices, with exquisite design features. Burlington House: Royal Academy of Arts which is architectural design heaven. Leighton House Museum that features an exquisite collection of high Victorian art, including works by Leighton himself. And, finally, The Beaufoy which was a Diamond Way Buddhist Centre that was once a school for underprivileged children and funded by the Beaufoy family.
Get your design fix at the London Design Festival! A fabulous activity for creatives and admirers of all things beautiful the week-long festival is not to be missed! So, with London Design Festival featuring Decorex International, 100% DESIGN, Focus 17, Design Junction and the London Design Fair - you are completely and utterly spoiled for choice.
A hive of luxury interiors and design magic, Decorex, is once again the opening destination for The London Design Festival. With 'Blank Canvas' as it's show theme, highlights of Decorex include, 'Colour & Material trends for Autumn Winter 2019/20' with colour and trend consultant from Colourhive and The Bar designed by Lambart & Browne.

Big changes are expected at 100% Design this year! With a renewed vision to highlight its dedication to innovation and emerging talent, 100% Design is not to be missed! Hosted at the Design Centre, Chelsea Harbour, Focus/18 will be a jam-packed event of design talks, workshops, interior designer insights and more! On for six days, our top choices include Influences and Influencers (a conversation in designs talk), the Colour Workshop with the fabulous Sophie Robinson and the Design Discovery Tour hosted by Elle Decoration.

Dedicated to connecting renowned design brands with top architects, industry experts, and interior designers ... this show is for the hardcore design lovers! With a diverse programme of installations, talks, and shows there is so much to see - we'd recommend popping by the Resident, James Burleigh and Bethan Gray exhibitions.

Last, but certainly not least ... London Design Fair. Located in the creative heart of East London, the London Design Fair runs over four-days.
