This month you have the opportunity to escape the throws of your every day busy life and take a step back in time to one of the UK's the most romantic and enchanting locations. We've teamed up with Sawday's Canopy & Stars this month to offer you the chance to win a 2-night complementary stay for two in a rustic Roundhouse. Set among the chestnut groves of the manor of Upcott Barton in Devon, the Upcott Roundhouse is surrounded by beautiful greenery and woodland, waiting to be explored. You will enjoy a fascinating experience that will take you back to the iron-ages, with a few added luxuries of course!

Hand-woven carpets cover the ground, and the chunky hand-built four-poster bed is piled Princess-and-the-Pea-high with a plump duvet and cushions. A torch lit walk through a narrow passageway leads to a mini roundhouse with a hot shower that most iron-age dwellers would have battled over! Order in delicious home-cooked meals or create your own spread with meat available to spit-roast over the large open fireplace, which is set in the center of the room. Either way, you are free to laze, relax and soak up the atmosphere without interruption.

Sawday's Canopy & Stars is a one-of-a-kind collection of cabins, shepherd’s huts, Gypsy caravans and unique builds, like the Upcott Roundhouse. The team spend their time seeking out and selecting quirky and unusual places to stay, each with something special and unique; whether its a stunning view, amazing design, or like Upcott Roundhouse – features an open-hearth.

Visit the Canopy & Stars website to find out more about their glamping holidays.

One of my favourite days out in London is to visit the Late and great Chris Bracey's Gods Own Junk Yard, filled with fabulous vintage neon signs. Likewise, Lights of Soho is London’s newest art gallery and member’s lounge, which has formed a cultural hub for Soho’s creative community and the global home of creative neon and light art.
Located in Soho's Brewer Street, the gallery offers food and drink supplied by Michelin-starred chef Mark Hix as well as a wealthy programme of film, fashion and music events for its members.

If you too like the bright lights of London, then the 'City Lights' exhibition will be right up your street. The exhibition will showcase established and next generation artists, such as Tracey Emin and the late Chris Bracey, as well as our very own Rococo wonderland whose fabulous cards are available at RSG!

'City Lights' will be on until 5th July at 35 Brewer St, London. For more information check their Facebook page.

Our top must-buy item this month is a fascinating limited edition book of portraits by Annie Collinge. Inspired by unusual dolls found in a New York Flea Market, Annie decided to create real life portraits using mainly strangers she met on the streets and subways who she asked to dress up exactly like the dolls. The photographs are really charming and playful, with each character bringing the dolls to life. A gentle reminder not to take life so seriously and a quirky addition for your coffee table! Five short poems by Margaret Atwood also feature alongside the images, designed by Claire Huss.

Five Inches of Limbo Book, £18.00 (+P&P). Available to purchase here.

As you may know, we love a little craft hour. When it is to do with interiors and is ultra chic and trendy, we get even more excited! We recently discovered Super+Super, an inspiring Brighton-based creative hub that offer a fantastic array of crafty workshops and creative classes. We spotted a Macrame making workshop taking place just around the corner from RSG HQ this June, in the tiny picturesque village of Ditchling. If you keep up-to-date with trends then you'll know that macrame is all the rage this Summer, (House & Garden talk macrame here) so this is a great class to get involved in. You could even pop in and see us for a cuppa afterwards to show off your skills!

To discover other cool and creative workshops, from poker to ping-pong and baking to biking, also check out the hand-picked classes available at The Indytute, or try screenprinting at BOXPARK in London.

DIY Planter Workshop with Amy Phipps at Ditchling Museum, 14th June 2015 10am - 1.30pm. To book tickets please see click here.

This has got to be on your ‘MUST do’ list for June. Now, there are many outdoor cinema events cropping up around the country, showing chick flicks a plenty whilst you drive by in your car, but this cinema event definitely takes my first prize. The promise of comfy seats, blankets, a bar, tasty food and sitting beneath the stars – sounds pretty perfect right?! So where will you book? We quite fancy heading to the Queen of Hoxton rooftop in Shoreditch - wireless headphones in, gazing up at Cumberbatch on the big screen. The busy streets below, and the stars above; a glass of wine in hand, and the largest bag of popcorn you can get your hands on for good measure. There are 4 Rooftop Film Club Venues in London all showing a great selection of films. You can even stay on after the movie finishes and soak up the scenery, whilst making the most of/propping up the bar. See you there!

The Rooftop Film Club . 4 hip locations across London.

If you haven't yet heard, we have been having a fabulous time creating the Hendrick's Oasis Garden at Blakes Hotel with the super talented Matthew Williamson and wonderful floral artist, Rebecca Louise Law. The Garden is bursting with fresh flowers, bright colours, magical pieces of furniture and curious objet d'art. The garden includes an incredible herb bar created by Hendricks, which is open for delicious signature cocktails and definitely well worth a visit!

If you can't fit in a trip to Blakes, stick on our Festival Fun playlist and enjoy one of our favourite Summer Cocktails, the Hendrick's Summer Mule...

The Horticultural Oasis at Blakes Hotel is open from 10am - 8.30pm every day until 14th July. For more details and to make a booking, click here. You can also create your own oasis at home with our exclusive MW Selection, now available online.

Have a great June!
