Charles and Ray Eames spent many years experimenting with new processes for optimising the way three-dimensionally moulded plywood fits the contours of the body. The result was the Plywood Group, with its moulded plywood seat, backrest and base. The organic shape and wood's cosy warmth invite users to sit down and relax.
The Charles and Ray Eames Plywood Group DCW Chair is made in moulded ash plywood. The connections of the chair are by means of rubber/metal elements. The DCW chairs measure h 725 x w 495 x d 555mm and is available in natural ash or black ash.
