Barneby Gates is the brainchild of Vanessa Barneby, Vogue Living Editor and Alice Gates, graduate of London Art School and fashion textile designer.  Pooling their experience, Vanessa and Alice set up Barneby Gates in 2009. A collage of nostalgic British scenes - ranging from war time images to country pursuits - taken from original 19th and 20th century photographs in sepia with a vintage gold finish. (NB the metallic finish is hard to pick up in photography so seeing a sample is essential)
