The Antony Chair by Jean Prouve was designed in the early 1950s for the Cite Universitaire at Antony near Paris. This beautiful chair is one of Jean Prouve's last pieces of furniture design. The salient feature of this unique item of seating furniture is its unconventional construction, which Jean Prouve successfully combine with a strickingly dynamic shape.
The Antony Chair by Jean Prouve measures h 875 x w 505 x d 671mm and is created in laquered tubular and sheet steel. The seat shell is made of moulded wood and natural oak veneer.
